Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora - Roots Generator

Here are a collection of materials I developed during my time on the Avatar project. Initially being the only material artist on the team, these materials were created in conjunction with development of the terrain system and were designed to test different features of the system. The materials you see here are all generated from a single utility node I created in Substance Designer. The tool was designed to be flexible as possible and output a variety of different root formations. These renders are of the materials as they were at the time of my departure, however many lived on and made it into the final game after refinements from the other material artists later in the project.
